Leading Inclusive Teams
Remember that the first step in reducing the impact of bias is to become more aware of it, in yourself and in others. Please consider the following and be ready to talk about it in the next session:
Spend this week being more observant of where unconscious biases are playing out, where assumptions are being made, where people are being excluded or included on the basis of biases. You can bring this attention to your work, home and social life and be sure to notice your own biases as well as observing others’. It might help to keep a few notes on your observations.
